AOD Counselling for Individuals

Counsellors, social workers, and psychologists are all members of our Counselling Team who are registered with AHPRA or their respective professional body and have completed additional competency-based training in AOD.

BHN offers counselling services at its offices in Prahran, South Melbourne, St Kilda, Parkdale, Chelsea and Bentleigh East. Through a welcoming, recovery-oriented, and trauma-informed practice, counselling is tailored to each individual’s goals and needs. Co-occurring issues are treated using evidence-based approaches. Those who wish to address the impact these issues are having on their lives can receive phone support and face-to-face counselling from counsellors.

In Prahran, after-hours Centre-based counselling is available fortnightly.

Part-time counsellors are also located at Access Health in St Kilda in a drop-in capacity.
